New EP out. More breaks and strange stuff! Buy here
New stuff in a while. RATATAT.
Next up is a split EP with Finland’s glitch techno king DiZE7. Glitches, tweaks, bleeps and straight up techno. Go have a listen and grab the EP, now!
Been pretty busy lately. A lot of music stuff going on. Plus a new label! Electric Bacon Records will focus on releasing music by me and friends. First release is of course new two track single from me.
New from SLDG series.
Less bpm, more sweat. Gotta admit, Detroit’s sludge techno sounds fresh and dirty at the same time. With all the shitty psych trance etc. floating around it’s nice that some people still want that grit in their music.
Along those lines stomps the new SLDG series. 115bpm is the new 130bpm or something. Next song could be even slower…
More straightforward techno stuff.
The first set of songs made under dieter.1982 name. Quickly made and put out, the idea was to iterate ideas fast into songs. It worked with varying success.
These songs were later turned into Reworks with bunch of friends (Drumhead, Ghost monkey, Pusher, Dj Holik and DJ Pataässä to name a few) making remixes of all the songs.
Phew! Talk about getting stuck…Finally got this track somehow together and just had to get it out there. Been a while for Smif but here’s something new, a electro/techno/ambient hybrid with eerie synths and haunting melodies.
New stuff after TCHN. Clearly gotten into this slow and sludgy techno thing. Don’t mind, though.
Hya and long time no write!
Been busy with other stuff, mainly with Zyprexa but there’s always some room for techno-y stuff. The newest track is a tech house piece by Smif Allor with quirky sounds and somehow a synth line reminiscent of the 80’s
nasty little piece. remix of smutman‘s chair, who is – if rumours are correct – doing a remix for a very interesting noisecore project.
More new stuff from ‘nother project…a lot of reverb and a lot of distortion. And bitcrusher, can’t forget bitcrusher.
Stumbled upon some older bits and pieces for a new project as well as couple of finished tracks. Style’s a lot more raw, dirty and layered with a definite electro-ish feel. Cocktease is a no-holds barred electro train while Dirty Dub takes you on a 10 minute journey through distortion, delay and glitches.
Have a listen and enjoy!
After a long weekend in London, nothing was the same. It all had to boil down to something.
Something new for a change
